DECREE 2467 DE 2019
Regulates the Public Policy for the strengthening of the audiovisual and cinematographic sector of Medellín, according to the Agreement 022 of 2015. It is the guide for the institutional strategies that the Mayor’s Office of Medellín implements to enhance the activities of the audiovisual sector.

Law 1556 of 2012
Colombia offers a refund or consideration to films totally or partially shot in the country of 40% of the value of the expenses incurred for cinematographic services and 20% of the value of the expenses made in cinematographic logistics services (hotel, food, and transportation). The refund applies to services provided by Colombian companies or natural persons residing in the country.

Resolution 1708 of 2009
Role of the Ministry of Culture related to cinematography. This resolution sets the functions of the Directorate of Cinematography, the Film Classification Committee and the Departmental and District Councils of Cinematography, also sets the requirements to recognize audiovisual works as national, the requirements for registration of film festivals and the process of authorization for filming of foreign cinematographic works in the country.
